I have made a card using the blue Alma papers. This is a tag card with a window, and the lovely vintage picture is from the collection From Grandma’s Attic ~ tinted.

The tag is pulled out, showing some kind words.

Thank’s for stopping by,
Marianne.

The soft and lovely hues of Small Roses worked beautifully for this butterfly mobile that I made in anticipation of a new granddaughter that will be born in July.  I cut 160 butterflies and paired them together with tulle in between the wings.

The top of the mobile features a framed vintage photo from the tinted collection of From Grandma’s Attic that matches perfectly.

It is such a joy to make projects with Pion Design papers!

The time has come to say thank you to Sandrine, our talented Guest Designer for May and June. She sure is a passionate paper crafter, and it has been a great joy to take part of all her creations!
Thank you Sandrine, we wish you the best of luck with all your future projects!

Hello! Sandrine here with you today! I am sharing a little album I created with a mix of Alma’s Sewing Room and Studio of Memories.

Those 2 paper collections work beautifully together! And I used the neutral tones with a splash of blue for a mini about my little boy! The whole project was designed by me and is entirely made of chipboard.

I had lots of fun putting this together! The beautiful papers really matched the photos of my little boy in the Outback!

Thanks for visiting Pion’s blog today! I hope you liked my project!

The Play Time collection can be used for projects aimed for children as well as grown-ups, and boys as well as girls. Today I have made a birthday card with the beautiful rose frame in focus. With a matching border and sweet butterflies it becomes quite elegant. I have used self adhesive 3D foams, and punched the edges for a bit different look. For decoration I have used stamps, roses, pearls and glitter.

Here you can see the inside of the card.

  • Hi Xandry and Karen – I made this violin using my Pazzles Inspiration software. The violin face is a cutting file from the Pazzles Craft Room. I took this cutting file and then designed it into a 3-dimensional project. The top of the violin box does lift up. I sized the project at about 15″ length, 5 1/2″ width, and 1 1/2″ depth.

Thank you everyone so much for your kind, lovely comments!ReplyCancel

This is such a gorgeously wonderful project it makes my heart ache because I would so love to make one too… not sure it would turn out this way, but I’d give it a go… Love the papers. Pion designs are absolutely new to me, but right now, I’m pinning like crazy. Need to find out where I get these from in the UK.

Would love to hear that you did digital papers!!!

Looking back to Pion Paper Designs and wondered it there is a tutorial for the violin box? I’d like to design one since I played the violin when I was 8 years old…..so many years ago!ReplyCancel

  • DT ~ Tara

Hi Roberta, I do not currently have a tutorial for this violin box. I did however, make it using a violin body cutting file from the Pazzles Craft Room Library. Once you have a good violin body, it’s easy to turn it into a dimensional project! Take care!ReplyCancel
