Winter Drawers

I’m thrilled with the soft delicate colors of the Days of Winter papers.  The crisp blue of the collection captures the excitement of the holiday season and makes me long for cooler days!
Enjoy the day!

      Hi Jo,
I don’t have a tutorial but this is easy to make! Just make 5 matchboxes measuring
4″ long x 2 1/2″ wide x 1 1/4″ height and glue them together vertically. Then use thin chipboard to cover all the sides except for the front of this stack of matchboxes. Measure these areas for accuracy before you cut your chipboard, but the chipboard pieces for this enclosing box should measure approximately 4″ x 6 1/4″ for the sides and 2 1/2″ x 6 1/4″ for the back and 4″ x 2 1/2″ for the top and bottom. Hope this helps!ReplyCancel

Hi Tara, I just love all of your designs. I have made The Carousel and The Magic 4 Drawers, and I would now like to make The Winter Drawers and The Vintage Wagon. Do you have the papers that you used to make both of these projects, if you do I would like to purchase them from you. Could you please tell me which papers you used and if you have them in stock.
Would welcome a reply. Thanking you kindly Have a nice day MaureenReplyCancel

Hi Maureen! The Vintage Wagon was made using papers from “For Mother.” I love that paper line but it is now discontinued. The Winter Drawers project was made using “Days of Winter” papers. I don’t have either of these in stock but check with other Pion Design distributors as someone else may have them available. Thank you for your comment! TaraReplyCancel
