Hello friends! It’s winter again. I love to create winter layouts with the newest collection by Pion Design: Greetings from the North Pole. Papers are beautiful, they have amazing delicate patterns and they are just perfect not only for cards, but for layouts as well!

IMG_3043

This time I created a layout with some distressed layers and with some mixed media accents.

IMG_3045

I used some elements of Memory notes sheet to create a frame around the photo.

I hope you liked my winter layout.

Thanks for looking!

  • Just been looking through the last many entries here, and boy I´ve been in for a treat with sooo many gorgeous cards here with these new amazing papers. Haven´t been online for some time, and what a treat to come and find here, all these cards are truly amazing, and you giorls have just done an outstanding job with these projects. ALl of them are soooo beautiful.ReplyCancel

I love this and many of the cards that are shown on this site. I also like that you give a list of the paper, which give us a sense of what the paper looks likes when we order them. I would also like to ask if you could give the measurement of the cards because European cards have different measurement than here in the states. That would help us figure out what bases we need to cut and envelopes or boxes we need to make. Thank you.ReplyCancel

    • Hi Elizabeth! Thank you for your feedback. I can only answer for my self on your request. I almost never go with a special measurement when I make a card. I just make my cards randomly. No plan at all 😀
If I have a picture that I want to work with I use the size of that picture to figure out how big I want my card to be.
My advise to you is just go with it! Play and have fun! I’m sorry that I could not give you a more precise answer…
      Love and hugs from Cathrine.ReplyCancel

Hello there! It’s time for another winter layout created with Greetings from the North Pole paper collection.

IMG_3088

I used some Memory notes elements to create a frame around my picture.

IMG_3090

I added a bit of mixed media: gesso, texture paste and some shiny mists: a white and a beige one.

IMG_3093

I added some wooden elements as well. They fit perfectly to the vintage mood of my layout.

Thank you for stopping by!
