I live in a small village in the north of Sweden. I have been addicted to scrapbooking for more than 10 years by now. I love that it makes me think and reflect about things that has happened to me and my family. And for me it is a way of relaxing after a hard days work as an Intensive Care Nurse.

At first when I found scrapbooking to be my new hobby, it was the colored and patterned papers that drew my attention. Then I started loving layering, and now I´m a complete mess…. I love playing around with gesso , paint and different spray inks/mists. I make layers using the different mediums and papers, journaling cards, stamps and all kind of different embellishments. Even though I mess up my pages pretty bad, I try to have some sort of structure of it all.

I currently design for Words & Paintery, the Color Room/Heart & Soul Artists & Page Drafts. Since I always look for new exciting creative challenges this Guest Desinger spot really got my creative mood up! Hope you find my work inspiring and take time to stop by my blog.

This tag was made with a plain vanilla tag as base. First of all I covered the tag with clear gesso to prep it for my other wet mediums. When dry, I randomly sprayed on pink, light green and light brown ink. To achieve a settled and soft color effect I sprayed on water. That makes the inks blend together. After some more drying (I use a heat gun cause I am pretty impatient) I added splatters of golden spray ink and a randomly stamped on text. The finishing touch is the beautiful picture from the picture paper that comes with the Days of Winter Collecion. I cut it out and covered with clear gesso. After drying I added it to my tag and decorated with sweet flowers, ribbons and the little tag.

Hope you enjoyed my little creation.

Marie

The vibrant purples of My Precious Daughter were used to cover this wood organizer.   The organizer is large so I’ve included different angles.  These dreamy colors make projects exciting!  I hope everyone has a special day!

Hello! I’d like to share with you a Christmas layout made with gorgeous Days of Winter collection.  I used it to scrap a picture I had been keeping for years, waiting for the perfect paper collection, and when I saw the rich tones on these papers I thought they were perfect for my photo.

Have a nice day!

DSC_9213Friends of mine have lost their daughter in a very tragic way. Dealing with that kind of tragedy is really hard, and it’s impossible to imagine being in their situation. I have made this album for my friend, to keep memories and pictures in. She likes sweet shades of pink and this style in decorations, so hopefully it will be appreciated.

Siri was the name of a beloved relative, and the paper collection Siri’s Kitchen is our attempt to capture the essence of her home and kitchen. The aim was for a paper collection that embraced the feeling of Siri’s warm heart and home, and even though they focus on her kitchen, the papers are perfect for so many different occasions.

Today we want to invite you to some Christmas inspiration together with Siri. Our fabulous Design Team has made a variety of different Christmas projects using the Siri’s Kitchen collection, and we have decided to share them with you here on the blog today!
