It’s so nice to combine papers from different Pion Design collections. For today’s card I have used Fairytale of Spring and A Day in May. It became a summery birthday card and for the image I have used Distress Markers.

There are always a great amount of moments passing us by every day, and rarely enough time to capture them. Therefore Pion Design is releasing Memory Notes, a paper collection intended to make memory keeping easier. This collection is a complement to our three latest collections, and the coordination possibilities are endless.

The 12″ sheets are single-sided and contains both familiar and new designs in the different sizes 4×4″, 4×6″ and 3×4″ for increased versatility.

Memory Notes will enable you to record your everyday life more vividly by documenting the random life moments in an instant. So welcome to turn your own memory notes into future keepsakes!

I love the way it allows me to capture the feeling of a lovely day that we spent att the beach during our vacation.

A Day in May has some beautiful brown papers, so I decided to use them along to make a layout about my cat Turbo. The flowers were made out of the papers too, using different dies.

I couldn’t resist making a lighthouse box with nautical elements to celebrate the stunning Shoreline Treasure collection. The top lifts off so that gifts can be placed inside.
A small red lantern was placed on top to shine just like a lighthouse.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Where do you get all the things you use to decorate the lighthouse. I am retired Navy Vet and would love to put this on my desk. At work I am surrounded by Army, and Marines and would use this to stake out my Navy area. Just joking they all are great people.ReplyCancel

  • I have one word to say:
    WOW!!!!!!!ReplyCancel

  • DT ~ Tara

Dina and Momo, I don’t currently have a tutorial for this project as I designed, cut and scored it using my Pazzles Inspiration. Linda, I found the fishing net at Academy Sports and the smaller decorative elements (anchor, lantern, sea shells, and sea horse) came from Michael’s.
I am grateful to all for your comments – thank you!ReplyCancel

Niesamowita konstrukcja. Ta latarnia zachwyca nie tylko precyzją wykonania, pomysłowością, ale przede wszystkim swoim klimatem. Dla mnie jest idealna.ReplyCancel

  • Julie

Beautiful project! Do you have the cutting file available?ReplyCancel

  • Alison Brookfield

    Hi
Can you tell me where I can find a manual template for this. I don’t have a cutting machine, and I make things like this for charity. I know of an old friend (who was in the navy) who is quite ill, and he would love it.ReplyCancel

Summer and days by the sea is the theme for today’s card, and I have of course used the collection Shoreline Treasures. There are layers of papers that I have rolled to the side to create a frame around the sailing motif.
