Life Is Peachy Pocket Cards

Hi!  I have made several pocket cards with the pink, blue and peach papers of Life Is Peachy.  For these cards, I cut out a heart shape for the center of the card and then added a beautiful die cut heart to accentuate the cut out piece.  One of the sweet images from the collection was then placed on the inner card to where it shows through the cut out heart. This is my favorite card style as the inner card can be pulled out and used as a bookmark.  Even though these cards are all made exactly the same, I am showing you several so you can see the gorgeous images from this collection in the heart cut-out.

Best wishes for a great day!
Tara

  • WOUW Tara, is there anything, you´re not good at? These cards are absolut adorable, and so amazing. I´m already ibn love with this collection, but you sure help me fall more and more in love with it. Every time you make something it´s even better than the last. You´re sooo talented, that I get all envious, but thanks god in the good way though ha ha ha.
I´m really in love with the beautiful little pearltrimmings, that you´ve added at the top of the first 2 cards, the one that is almost like a small guirlande. Can you tell, where you´ve got that from?I would love to find some of that somewhere if possible.
Have a wonderful week-end and lots of fun.ReplyCancel

Hi Maryann, The trim that you are wondering about is actually lace! I ordered it from Etsy several years ago and used the last of it for these cards. I believe Tracey Payne’s Crafteezee online shop sells it though so you may want to check with her. Take care and have a great day! TaraReplyCancel

Tara, These are just gorgeous! You so inspire me to create! May I ask where I could find the greenery stems you used on these? Especially the one that stems out from the roses in the top left corner. These papers are amazing. Need to get me some!!

Hi Jacqueline, Thank you for your inspirational words! The very top left one and bottom left (ivy) are Marianne Creations dies. The one to the right of the top far left one is a Spellbinders die. I hope this helps! Best wishes for a great day! TaraReplyCancel
