Carousel Swings

This Carousel Swings project tries to capture the bygone days of childhood when there was anticipation for county fair and carnival rides such as this one.  The octagonal base of this project has pull-out drawers, making it functional.  I used chipboard and thick poster board to construct it and then covered it with papers from Paris Flea Market and Pion Design Palette.  The thicker Pion Design Palette papers provide great support and strength to projects and can be used instead of card stock.  It works great for die-cutting and embossing.
I’m enclosing downloadable templates along with instructions on how to make this fun project.  Be sure to scale all the templates to 100% when printing.  It requires quite a bit of time to make, but the results are well worth the time and effort as it is a keepsake that is certain to be treasured!
