Hello friends! Today I have for you my Christmas card with some fun embellishments. I’ve used some golden paper straws and metal elements. I’ve build paper layers using the newest paper collection by Pion Design – Long ago in Bethlehem.

There are some cool paper elements on Tags sheet, that can help you to build paper layers. I’ve used old postcard’s graphic.

Thank you for stopping by!

Marta

Hi girls! Here it is Antonia again as Guest Designer to show you another layout to inspire you.

It is surprising to see me working on a “baby” project but as I had this astonish collection from Pion Design, Theodore and Bella, I couldn’t help to work with it. I remembered I saved this cute photo of my friend’s child, Mateo, and I knew that was “the photo” to be used with these papers.

First of all, I started with the background composition. Some Distress Ink colors and different stamps were enough, as the paper is just soooo cool and tender! I also like to distress papers and machine sew them to give a dynamic impression to the viewer.

This collection papers are full of vintage baby colors. I wanted to add lots of layers using them. Also some pieces of burlap were added. Helped by some chipboard sentences painted with green acrylic paint, I added the main title and a note on the top left side of the background.

For the final touch, I glued some micro spheres in  vintage gold.

Hope you liked this new project as much as I enjoyed working on it.

See you soon!

Antonia M.

Hi Everyone,

I made this card for an elderly chap who has had cards from me for his Wife for years.  She loves purple so each one has been made using shades from of purples/lilacs and the Witching Hour papers were just perfect for this card.  All the cards I have made for this lady are in 3D wooden frames and are all around the wall in her bedroom.  How lovely that she treasures each and every one.

Hope you like it.
