I used Life is Peachy papers to cover this little wooden tea cart.  I actually intend to use the project to store craft paints, arts beads, and small craft tools but wanted to show the altered cart with paper tea cups also made with papers from the collection.  Cheers to another beautiful, amazing paper collection by Pion Design!

      Hi Karen, This wooden cart measures approximately 8.75″x6.75″x9″ height, so it is a good size cart to be able to hold craft items. I currently have the bottom cart area filled with craft paints and art beads and the top cart area is filled with bottles of glue and glitter, stamp ink pads, scissors, tweezers, and a craft knife. Hello everyone,

When thinking about the journey my mind wondered to my Dad.  He was a soldier in the World War II and this was the only time that he travelled ever in his entire life.  He visited Singapore, India and beyond.  Once he returned from the War he never set foot back on a plane.  It makes you think of what soldiers went through and indeed still do.  He didn’t like to talk about it at all and in fact until my Father’s funeral service I didn’t even know he had been shot in the leg.  So my project for me was to include a map of the world in recognition of the only journey my dad took  in his lifetime.

It is an 8×8 canvas.  I got a little trigger happy with the spraying but the map can still be seen and the word journey included in the text taken.

I had a lot of fun making this project! Hope you like it.
