Today I’ve made a Christmas card using plenty of Glimmermist. The collections used are From Grandma’s Attic and Silent Night. I’ve used Distress for the edges and decorated the card with flowers, snowflakes, buttons and laces. Finally I sprayed it with Glimmermist in different tones.

Is there any better way to start up a November week than by presenting a new Guest Designer? Meet Julie Price, a talented crafter who is staying with us for the rest of the year. We are so excited to be taking part of her upcoming Pion Design projects, and we’re quite certain they will all be amazing!

My name is Julie Price and I live in Sydney Australia, I love to create both cards and 3D pieces and enjoy the Shabby Chic style. I love using lots of die cuts, pretty lace and flowers on my creations to compliments the beautiful papers. I have been crafting in one form or another for as long as I can remember. I taught painting for many years and for the last 18months have been teaching Copic colouring at my local craft store. I have had many projects published in Australian Simply Cards and Australian Papercraft Essentials magazines and in 2012 won Practical Publishing Cardmaker of the Year /Paper and Embellishments.

I am delighted to be sharing my designs using the gorgeous Pion paper ranges and am very thankful for this opportunity, I hope that I can inspire you with my creations over the next few weeks.
