Hello friends! Dana here today sharing a layout that I created with the beautiful Easter Greetings collection. I’m always excited to work with a new collection. There are so many beautiful designs in this line, that it was hard to choose what papers to use. I took this photo of my youngest daughter two years ago and it is still on of my favorite Easter memories.
I love the subtle damask fade that is present around the edge of this Violet patterned paper, so I made a similar design with a stencil and ink for the base of my focal point. I cut an Easter basket from the patterned paper and added a flower cluster in a coordinating color palette.

I think this card really has a nice spring feeling about it. Just a lot of soft pastells. I used water colours to tint the dolilie. The flowers are also made from papers from the Easter Greetings collection and I added some shades of water colours to them.

Hi Roseanne, thank you for your comment! Sometimes I provide templates for my projects on this blog or on my personal blog. For this easy project, cut 5 pieces of medium-weight chipboard measuring about 5″ x 5″ and glue them together to form a simple box without a top. I also use Scor-Tape to strengthen the glued corners. Once the box is made, cover the inside and outside of the box with these gorgeous papers. Use a large 5″ die to make the basket flaps. Just score the die cuts in half and glue half to the inside of the box at the top and let the other half hang down the outside. It’s that simple!

I made an Easter layout with a old photo of my son dressed as a “påskkärring” in Swedish. It´s a tradition here to dress up as an Easter whitch on Maundy Thursday. The kids are walking around the neighborhood giving out Ester cards hoping to receive t a litte candytreat as a thank you!
