agg_54fadb2fe087c34a52c1decdHello,
I have made an Easter card, with a small basket made from paper stripes. I also cut out some eggs from matching papers.

Finally Pion Design has designed heavier papers in the same colors as their patterned papers. Lovely colors and perfect quality. For this card I have used two different blue colored sheets together with the Paris Flea Market collection.

Tracy here once again to hopefully inspire you with my card using the Paris Flea Market collection of papers and using one of the Grandma Attic’s Elegant Ladies.  These images really are so very beautiful and coupled with the papers make the most beautiful cards.

Today we are so glad to announce that we have a new member in our Design Team. So let’s give a warm welcome to talented Katie Zoey Ho who is staying with us for the rest of the year!

katie

I started picking up my pencil to draw at the age of 3 and the very first thing I drew is apple hearts which I clearly remembered till date. I took up traditional and general fine arts during my entire Primary and Secondary education (equivalent to 1st – 12th grade) and had received formal industry training in area of footwear design from various Italian trainers from a notable Italian shoemaking school.

But what’s interesting about me is I was previously trained and had worked for Science and Medicine for over a decade before moving onto Arts and Design. Love coffee and Science but my passion inclines towards designing and creating. Thanks to a decade worth of scientific & medical research training, the innovation process in experimental design had made the transition possible and not a scary one. The combination of Science & Art always excites me and I do enjoy the mind-boggling yet fulfilling creative process. Love almost everything that’s artsy & beautiful and a true believer that Art do speak, I desire to create things that are beautiful enough to inspire and encourage people in every means.

Currently resides in Singapore, a tiny red dot along the equator on the map; also known as the Green City where you will be surrounded with lots of greeneries and enjoy summer all year round.

family pion

Hello, I have made a layout using the beautiful ‘My Beloved Son’ collection
with a vintage photo of my husband’s great uncles.

family pion detail 6

I love to build up lots of layers with heavy white gesso through a mask, different papers and fibers,
and then add lots of inks. Here I have used turquoise, brown and gold.

Thanks for visiting!
Until next time,
Lisa xo
